A flat fee, not an open-ended project

A will and trust, done right, for one flat fee.

Most people put off a will and trust for years because it feels like an open-ended legal project. Ours isn't — a flat fee starting at $1,250, drafted by our estate attorney, and coordinated with the rest of your financial picture from day one.

Simply Explained

Most people don't skip a will and trust because they don't understand why they need one. They skip it because getting one feels like opening an unpredictable legal project with an attorney they've never met, for a bill they can't see coming.

Ours isn't that. It's a flat fee, drafted by our estate attorney, and because we take the time upfront to understand your actual accounts, beneficiaries, and family situation, the documents reflect what's really there — not a generic template with your name dropped in.

This is a standalone service. You don't have to become an ongoing financial planning client to get a will and trust done right, though many people who start here later choose to coordinate the rest of their plan with us.

How It Works

01

A short conversation

We learn your family situation, assets, and goals — no full financial plan required first.

02

Drafting

Our estate attorney drafts your will and trust based on what we've learned, not a fill-in-the-blank template.

03

Review together

You review the documents with us before anything is signed, so you understand exactly what they do.

04

Signing & funding

Documents get signed, and we make sure titling and beneficiary designations actually match what's in them — the step most people skip.

Who this is for

  • You don't have a will or trust yet, or what you have was drafted more than a decade ago
  • You want the process handled quickly, without opening an ongoing planning engagement
  • You want a flat, upfront fee — not an hourly clock

Who this isn’t for

  • You already have a financial plan with us and just need your existing documents reviewed against it — see Estate & Trust Planning instead
  • Your estate involves business succession, multiple trusts, or out-of-state property — scope and pricing are quoted upfront once we understand the complexity

Questions

Is $1,250 really the total cost?

That's the starting flat fee for a standard will and trust for an individual or couple. More complex situations — blended families, business ownership, multiple properties — may cost more, and we quote that upfront before any drafting begins.

Do I have to become a full financial planning client to get this?

No. This is a standalone service. Some clients stop there; others later choose to coordinate their broader financial, tax, and investment picture with us as well.

How long does it take?

Most wills and trusts are drafted and ready to sign within a few weeks of our first conversation, depending on how quickly we get the information we need from you.

Who actually drafts the documents?

Our estate attorney drafts and finalizes the legal documents. We coordinate the process and make sure your accounts and beneficiary designations actually match what's on paper once it's signed.
